Tiny Holidays: Quick Gift Wrap Upgrade

Howdy! We're taking a break from the trenches of gift wrapping to bring you this cute idea we came up with to jazz up an otherwise boring gift. For the holidays, we like to give tickets- movie, concert, sporting event, etc. The problem with giving tickets is that they just kind of...sit there in the envelope. We are festive kind of people, so of course we had to find a quick (and cheap!) way to jazz up our presentation.

Tickets to the Philharmonic! We are excited to give these babies for a holiday gift, but they're kind of boring on their own, right?

Yay, that's better! We just stuck on a few photo corners (available at any craft store in the scrapbooking section) that we had left over from our wedding guest book. Topped with a city stamp (also from our wedding) for a little visual upgrade, this looks totally cute and festive. Now, what to put it in? A boring, white envelope? Not for us!

We glued on a few paper-punch circles leftover from our Thanksgiving placecards and stamped some festive holiday decoration onto the corners of these envelopes from Paper Source. It's beginning to look like a gift now.

That's more like it! A bit of ribbon, also leftover from our Thanksgiving garland completes this free wrapping upgrade. Ho-ho-holy cuteness, Batman!

How do you do holiday wrapping? Take our poll and let us know!
