Hey all! Just thought I'd give you a little update on the jungle growing in our back yard (wheee!) So far, so good. We have a ton of gorgeous cherry tomatoes on the vine, a big summer squash and lots of flowering. I'm super excited to see what the rest of the summer brings.
Are you gardening? Update us- how are your things growing??

How Are Things Growing?
Gardening! I love being outside in the garden. Weeding, planting, digging, hauling, mowing. I'll happily do it all! Here's how our little slice of paradise is looking after a little sunshine.
Basil, habenero peppers, rosemary
Thyme, habenero peppers, globe basil
Our giant rose bush is in bloom!!
Cucumbers (I think)
All of our heirloom tomato plants went in today!
Random flowers
Our lettuce is going crazy
I grew super tall!
Yay! All green and happy.

Planning a Vegetable Garden
It's a super sunny, gorgeously blue-sky kind of day here in Boston. Although the thermometer still says "winter", we're feeling pretty springy. We have the seed catalogues out, and are in the middle of reading two awesome books:
We're getting excited about expanding our vegetable garden. As we mentioned, we're planning to nix the flowers this year (sniffle, sniffle), opting instead to just spend our pennies growing things we can actually eat! We're doing lots of reading to figure out how to grow a thriving garden on a tiny budget!
Here's a preview of what we've got up our sleeve! Next week, we'll show you our garden plan and talk specifics.
